VIENNA, Virginia, November 15, 2010- The Asia Foundation’s yearly survey of Afghanistan, conducted by D3 System’s subsidiary ACSOR-Surveys, was released this week.  ACSOR-Surveys has conducted the Asia Foundation’s annual surveys since 2007.  “Afghanistan in 2010: A Survey of the Afghan People”, provides insight into the Afghan public’s perceptions of reconstruction, security and governance— as well as attitudes towards government and other institutions, the role of women and Islam in society, and a variety of other subjects. The results were released Tuesday, November 9^th at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

The survey was conducted from June 18 to July 5, 2010 by 634 male and female ACSOR-Survey interviewers in all of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces with a sample size of n=6,467 and a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.44%. The response rate was 81%. The full results are available here.
