Our Year in Review for 2022

Happy belated New Years from all of us at D3: Designs, Data, Decisions!

It is truly a pleasure to be able to gather together again to reflect on all that we accomplished last year with the help of our valued clients, field partners, and internal staff. We are ecstatic that 2022 marked another year of growth at D3 and that we were once again voted one of the Best Places to Work in Virginia! As a small company, we are grateful to our clients for helping us expand to 44 staff members who completed 295 projects in 85 countries this past year alone. Here is a brief snapshot of some of those projects:

  • Sesame Workshop’s Handwashing Digital Games Summative Study in South Africa
  • World Justice Project’s 2022 Rule of Law Index National Survey in Suriname
  • Pew Research Center’s Religion National Surveys
  • MSI’s Third Party Monitoring program in Afghanistan

We also self-funded the North Africa Economic Barometer with support from our longstanding partner, Sigma Conseil, in Tunis, Tunisia. Wave 1 of the Barometer survey launched in June across Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco and explored respondents’ living conditions and related political, social, and economic concerns in light of the ongoing crisis in the Ukraine. If you are interested in learning more about this Barometer series, please contact us for more information.

We believe our overall success as a company is reflective of our visionary leadership, including that of Dr. David Jodice, our CEO who was recently elected as the World Association for Public Opinion Research’s (WAPOR’s) Vice President & President-Elect. His term began on January 1, 2023, and we are excited to see the positive impact David brings to WAPOR over the next six years in this position. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate David on this well-deserved distinction and to thank all of you who made this past year another great success! We are looking forward to ringing in the new year with your new research goals, whatever and wherever they may be.
