The results reflected below are based on phone interviews conducted in Dari and Pashto among a random national sample of 2,116 Afghan adults from October 09 – October 17, 2025.
 
This survey was conducted to measure perceptions and attitudes related to recent events and long-term trends in Afghan society.

In August 2021, after the Taliban takeover, D3 transitioned from in-person to telephone surveys. This approach will continue until the situation becomes more stable and face-to-face surveys are a more reasonable option.
