May. 27, 2014
May 27, 2014, Tysons Corner, Virginia — D3 Systems participated in the 69th annual American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) Conference, held in Anaheim, California from May 15th to May 18th. The D3 team presented two posters, a methodological brief, and six papers. Topics ranged from last month’s presidential election in Afghanistan, to Egypt’s uncertain transition towards democracy, to the diverse spectrum of opinions amongst Muslim women in 25 countries.
D3 Systems hosted its first AAPOR panel, “Women’s Attitudes in Conflict, Crisis, & Post-War Zones: Research from Public Opinion Surveys,” featuring research from the Pacific Institute of Research & Evaluation (PIRE) and Georgetown University’s Institute for Women, Peace, and Security, in addition to D3 sponsored research in Africa and the Middle East
