D3's 2018 Year in Review
Jan. 18, 2019
D3 wishes you a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year! 2018 was a productive and rewarding year for the D3 team. We traveled to 24 countries, and had new projects in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Senegal, Turkmenistan, Venezuela, and Vietnam. Of the 235 projects completed by our team of 17 analysts, we worked on 15 international development evaluations and conducted 35 ethnographic interviews, up from 6 last year. We were enthusiastic to continue work with clients such as the Pew Research Center, the BBG, the Asia Foundation, Abt Associates, and Sesame Street!
Our D3-sponsored survey tool, Research Control Solutions (RCS), was utilized to conduct 57 surveys on tablet or mobile devices. RCS expanded work into nine new countries in 2018, including Burkina Faso, Colombia, Haiti, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Senegal, South Africa, and Tunisia. In addition to the project work, RCS introduced five brand new features in 2018: back checking and enhanced verification, timestamp exports, randomization order recording, log exports, and conditional audio recording.
Cheers to another great year! Thank you to all those who were a part of it. Looking forward to more Designing for Data-driven Decisions in 2019!
